Koh Phayam is an island blessed with the perfect waves during the pre-winter months. The main surfer's beach in Koh Phayam is Ao Yai Beach. It is perfectly located to catch swells from the Andaman Sea. The real fun starts in mid-April. Waves go up to two-meters and potentially beyond, but the wind makes the conditions unpredictable and is best suited to experienced surfers.
